What with Manny Ramirez being in the news every couple days for saying something brilliant, we barely even had time to miss him. Has it really been almost 50 games? My, how the time flies.
The suspended Los Angeles Dodgers slugger played in his final minor league rehab game Monday night for the Class-A San Bernadino Inland Empire 66ers, going 1-for-3 with an infield single in the leadoff spot as designated hitter and striking out twice for the second game in a row.
Sadly, he declined to speak with reporters before the game.
"No thank you," he said. "Go to YouTube."Manny is eligible to return to the big leagues this Friday, when the Dodgers take on the Padres in San Diego. So, ready or not LA, here he comes.

How can you miss a person when ESPN won't take his penis out of their mouth long enough to know he's actually gone?
Oh, and anon? I think the Dodgers' 49-28 record might disagree with you...
Chris, I was JUST about to comment on their awesome record! In a perfect world with no no-trade clauses and b.s., the Dodgers would get rid of his ass, save some money and keep rolling with what they have. He's nothing but a Bondsesque-media circus at this point.
God he's an idiot. It hurts my brain to even look at him.
It's going to be interesting to see what the Dodgers do with Manny back and who will sit on the bench and if he can come back. I also wonder will throw a party for Manny when he comes back...
