Carl Crawford went 4-for-4 with an RBI this Sunday, but did something even more incredible. He stole six bases. In one game.
We all know what a thief Crawford is, but geez. No one has done something this awesome on the base paths for 18 years.
The Tampa Bay Rays outfielder joins Eddie Collins, Otis Nixon, and Eric Young as the only players to snag six bags in a single game. Collins did it twice in 1912, while Nixon and Young did it in 1991 and 1996, respectively. To top it off, the Rays went on to beat the Boston Red Sox 5-3.
Ridiculous.

So much for the balk based pick-off moves eliminating base running from baseball.
Meth is a dirty habit, hope she gets better
Haha, Otis Nixon. Been a long time since I heard that name.
