The Oakland Athletics placed Frank Thomas on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a strained right knee and quadriceps tendinitis.

That's really too bad, but it was totally inevitable.
See - what happens... people write about an old ballplayer and bang... he's banged up.
Right - like my post had anything to do with the fact that he is banged up. Anyone could guess that was coming!
