Holy crap is right! Dude must have some background in soccer, or a horseshoe up his rear.
That was totally out of control.
The kick seemed to be largely luck, but the presence of mind to track it down really impressed me.
Cristiano Ronaldo would be proud.
He has a habit of kicking at balls that come back up the middle like that(according to the Cards announcers), but this was downright sick. I was watching when it happened, and it made me jump out of my chair..
Yeah - this was just ridiculous. I saw it when it happened and I immeadiately went to bed, realizing I would not see anymore baseball that was any more amazing than that.
In fact, Joel should have just turned and walked to the dugout, called a press conference and announced his retirement. You have to go out when you're on top! It's all downhill from here, Joel.
