The Chicago White Sox have plugged a tiny hole in their bullpen this weekend by signing free agent reliever Scott Linebrink to a four-year, $19 million contract, as soon as he passes his physical.
The 31-year-old righty went 5-6 with a 3.71 ERA with one save in 71 appearances between the San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers last season and is a career 30-16 with a 3.21 ERA.
